Every wine on the list at Rosolini comes from New Jersey: the restaurant pours wines produced and bottled by Hopewell Vineyards in Pennington, NJ, by the glass or by the bottle: reds, whites and a dry sparkling wine. The same wines go into the restaurant's mimosa and sangria.
The reds
- Barbera: a Northern Italian variety with an intense ruby color and aromas of cherries and raspberries, aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
- Cabernet Sauvignon: full-bodied, with black cherry, raisin and plum aromas.
- Rosso della Valle: the vintner's medium-bodied blend, deep red, with a smooth long finish.
- V…: a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Sangiovese and 25% Barbera, by Violetta Neri.
The whites and the sparkling
- Chardonnay: oak-aged, medium-bodied, with pear, apple and vanilla.
- Pinot Grigio: light, with peach and lime. Net proceeds from this wine benefit autism intervention, research and services.
- Vidal Blanc: light and slightly sweet, crisp, with apple, pear and grapefruit.
- White Merlot: light, with peaches and pears.
- Spumante Secco: a clean, dry, well-balanced sparkling wine.
Without alcohol
The drinks menu has a full alcohol-free side: mocktails made with alcohol-removed spirits, such as the Rosolini Spritz and Margarita Rosolini, an alcohol-removed sparkling wine, alcohol-free Peroni, Moretti and Heineken, Italian sodas, and espresso from 100% Arabica beans.
